About
The third stage of the MED 25 Le Bel Espoir odyssey leads us to rediscover the importance of women's place in building peace. Their rights and responsibilities are a challenge in the balance of societies. Their participation in public life, education and research, in the family, associative, professional and political world reflects the commitment of Mediterranean societies to the dignity of every person and the participation of each person in building justice.

Saturday, April 26 – Valletta
12 p.m. Official welcome and lunch at Wied il-Ghan
3:30 p.m. Guided tour of the Neolithic temples, Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra
6 p.m. Walk through Mdina
7:30 p.m. Visit to the sanctuary Our Lady of Mellieha and meeting with refugee women.
8:30 p.m. Festival and dinner with the youth of Malta

10:45 Reflection on Caravaggio's painting

4:00 p.m. Conference open to the public on women in the Mediterranean, with the MELA Foundation
