Currently a Senior Policy Advisor at the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), Frédéric de Dinechin joined the UfM in 2023 after spending ten years at the Council of Europe Development Bank. A graduate of the École Polytechnique in France, he is co-founder of the association Alumni for the Planet whose mission is to mobilize higher education graduates to take action for the climate and the environment in their companies.
Invited for a dialogue with young people who participated in MED25.

Hamed ALAOUI – Muslim values and spirituality in France
Hamed Alaoui is vice-president of the Marseille branch of the association Muslim values and spirituality in France (VSMF) who participates in interfaith meetings. Professor of literature and history and lecturer in communication, he is a disciple of the Qadiriyya Boutchiciyy Sufi path.

Religious of Franciscan spirituality, in charge of the Morocco mission for the Catholic Delegation for Cooperation (DCC), an organization of the Church of France which sends International Solidarity Volunteers all over the world, with the objective of sustainable development.

Alexandre PASTOR – Melting Pot
Alexandre Pastor is a Marseille-based social entrepreneur. He founded Melting Pot, an association that educates young people aged 11 to 25 about political and civic life. Its goal is to combat electoral abstention by making politics more accessible and understandable. Melting Pot works in middle schools, high schools, social centers and sports clubs, offering interactive workshops on the functioning of institutions, democratic issues and electoral mechanisms.

Dominique SANTELLI – DERRE/ISTR and network Alwan
Dominique Santelli, head of a school in Marseille, is involved in the Adyan Foundation's Alwan project, an educational initiative dedicated to promoting inclusive citizenship. This project aims to foster identification alongside others rather than in opposition, by reinforcing the values of openness to diversity, respect, and solidarity. Co-head of the Department of Studies and Research on Religions at the School and the Institute of Sciences and Theology of Religions, she has published, with Christian Salenson, Religions at school: meeting Islam.
