« It’s been a month since I stepped off L’Espoir, yet the experience continues to echo in my heart every single day. MED25 was far more than a journey across the Mediterranean ,it was a journey inward, a powerful exploration of identity, dialogue, and shared humanity. It changed the way I see the world, the way I listen to stories, and the way I connect with people from different walks of life.
I often find myself missing the boat , not just the physical space, but the energy, the openness, the late-night talks, and most of all, the incredible people who felt like family from the very first day. I would return to that experience without a second thought.
Back home in Bethlehem, I’ve been sharing our journey with my family and friends , and their reactions say it all. They’ve been inspired, intrigued, and deeply moved. It’s sparked conversations and interest that I didn’t expect. I’m now encouraging people from here to take part in future editions, because I truly believe that everyone deserves to live something as powerful, honest, and human as MED25.
Thank you for giving us that rare space to grow, to reflect, and to build something that lingers long after the voyage ends. I sincerely hope to sail with you again , because L’Espoir wasn’t just a boat. It was a beginning.
