Heading for peace and fraternity in the Mediterranean. The 2025 Mediterranean Meetings will take young people aged 20 to 35 aboard a sailboat for an unprecedented eight-month odyssey to discover others and build a common future. We'll set sail in March 2025!

After Marseille in 2023 with Pope Francis, then Tirana in Albania in September 2024, the Mediterranean Meetings 2025 (or Med 25, as The life accompanies as a media partner) are intended to be itinerant.

Aimed at young people aged 20 to 35, of all nationalities, cultures and religions from around the Mediterranean, these Meetings aim to build close links between the shores, so that young people can make a concrete commitment to peace when they return to their countries. For this new edition, these “MED25” Meetings will take place aboard the legendary sailboat Beautiful Hoper. A unique journey, in the spirit of the 2025 jubilee launched by Pope Francis on the theme “Pilgrims of hope”.

United by life at sea

On the program: eight two-week stages each in key sites of the Big Blue: Barcelona, Tetouan, Palermo, Bizerte, Malta, Chania, Nicosia, Jounieh, Istanbul… and of course Marseille on October 25, 2025. At each stage, a particular theme will be developed: education, the migratory challenge, women's responsibility, interreligious dialogue or even the environment.
