FORUM, Space 1 – Planting Seeds of Peace, Film

The “planting seeds of peace” workshop will be led by Florence de Bénazé while watching “ "The Man Who Planted Trees," a story written in 1953 by Jean Giono. The narrator tells the story of a shepherd who revives his region, in Haute-Provence, by planting trees. We will watch together the animated cartoon with elegant watercolors illustrating this story, read in full by Philippe Noiret. Jean Giono wrote this short story to "make people love planting trees," and he waived all rights to this work, which has been distributed throughout the world. We will share our emotions and thoughts after viewing it to plant seeds of peace.
