I AM is a choreographic piece by the Evolves Company mixing contemporary dance, hip hop, classical and dance theater.

Carried by four artists with intense performances, this show is a cry, a

cry of rage, a cry from the heart. It explores and questions the notions of identity, of

relationship with others and self-acceptance through choreographic writing

sensitive and committed. A true ode to living together, I AM offers, at

beyond dance, a powerful and moving emotional journey.

The artists of the Evolves Collective have the desire to make I AM a

show that aims to break archetypes and stereotypes, in response to what they

have themselves experienced. By addressing the themes of judging others

and stigmas, the interpreters want to give birth to an experience

personal a universal message of tolerance and self-love.

I AM is an invitation to unite under the colors of a cosmopolitan country,

in which beauty is born from difference. The dancers have the will to

give a new definition to the term “patriotism” through this

creation that reflects their identities: atypical, imperfect and

various.
