In the footsteps of Marcel Pagnol, in the land of the hills

Marseille Otherwise offers you an easy walk in the morning to discover the village of La Treille and Les Bellons, vacation spot of the Pagnol family.

It is at the extreme limit of Marseille and at the gates of the Garlaban hills. The places are obviously linked to the great Provençal author, but the theme is also: the importance of water, cultivation in terraces (bancaou), the scarcity of water, hunting, the herbs of the hills... with the right smell of thyme and rosemary.
